The Value Systems Co., Ltd., a member of VST ECS Group, one of leading IT distributor in Thailand, has spun off its ICT Services business to incorporate a new joint venture company with Vintcom Technology PCL. at 49:51 shareholding. A new service company name is ‘vServePlus Co., Ltd.’, who aim to be the leading domestic and international ICT services provider, with effect from 1 September 2016.
Mr Narong Intanate, Executive Chairman, remarks the reasons why The Value Systems has to spin off its ICT Services business to be a new company that, “During the past 30 years, The Value Systems has focused on being an IT distributor starting from selling IT components, devices, until enterprise products. ICT services had taken a role as a supportive team of Sales Division all the times. A major reason of this spin off is a high potential growth of ICT service business year-by-year. Now, our main customers are not only the large organizations but also small and medium enterprises as well as individual consumers who consider a smart device as one of the necessities for living. They cannot live without it. Whenever it is out-of-order, it must be repaired immediately. As same as many large organizations who place important on an up-to-date IT solutions which much more complicate such as Big Data Technology and Internet of Things, because they want to well-manage their huge data and control risk of their IT infrastructure system.”
“There is not a really ICT service provider in Thailand which clearly provides services from component level to enterprise level now. I see a potential of growth in this business, so decided to incorporate a new service company named “vServePlus”, Narong said.
vServePlus has been established with a registered capital of 40 million baht, a joint venture between Vintcom Technology PCL., a member of Vnet Capital Group, holds 51% and The Value Systems Co., Ltd. holds 49% shareholding.
“vServePlus is counted as an associated company of The Value Systems. Total 164 staffs have been transferred from the Company to vServePlus, effective 1 September 2016 onward.”
“From now on, The Value Systems will focus on selling IT products and further strengthened itself for the higher competition. We will expand our market share not only in Thailand, but into CLM countries also. Although our income will be decreased for 3%-4%, it, however, will not affect to the company. In fact, as we hold 49% shareholding of vServePlus, we will still definitely get a benefit from this business. As for vServePlus, it must not wait for job assignment from us only, but has to expand a new customer both in Thailand and CLM countries. If vServePlus succeeds, we will also gain more benefits.” Narong said.
Vintcom Technology PCL. is an authorized distributor of Oracle Enterprise in Thailand and a member of Vnet Capital Group that Mr Narong Intanate is the major shareholder. He said as the Chairman of Vintcom that, “vServePlus will strengthen Vintcom by generating more income from other business other than products selling. Though vServePlus is a new company, but it can make profit and generate income immediately because of the continually growth of service business. During the last 3 years, ICT services business had grown about 16%-18%. It was higher than IT business that had grown less than 10%. Previously, The Value Systems’ incomes from services business was about 500 million baht. We ensure that income of vServePlus in these 5 years will be able to reach 700 million baht”, Narong said.
Mrs Songsri Srirungroungjit, Managing Director of Vintcom Technology PCL. said, “Now, Vintcom is preparing for filing to get an approval from Securities and Exchange Commission to be a listed company in The Market for Alternative Investment (mai). Our joint venture with The Value Systems to expand our business this time will strengthen Vintcom. We are sure that in the next 3 years, our overall income will reach 2,000 million baht, whereas this year we expect revenue at 1,200 million baht.
